Question by DDD: What internet connection web servers use?
I’m planning to buy a server, but the only problem I see is internet connection. What internet connection do servers use to be enough so many people could access it without slowdown? All internet providers seem to be too slow for servers, even Comcast business class have only 10 megabits upload speed. Can you explain how is this supposed to work?

They’re usually located in data centers with multi gigabit uplinks provided by tier 1 ISP’s.

Nothing remotely related to consumer grade networking.
